WHAT WE DO
- As the social partner of Swiss International Air Lines we negotiate CWA for cabin crews of Swiss. As cabin crew union kapers supports all CCM in Switzerland including those who are employed by Air Berlin, EasyJet, Edelweiss, Helvetic and PrivatAir. At present kapers represents more than 2.600 members.
- The kind of work of CCM is not comparable with other professions. Irregular working hours, time differences, as well as constant pressure- and climate changes are part of daily work likewise is travelling to foreign countries. The flying personnel needs a particularly high employment protection since it is not included in the Swiss labour law.
- In close collaboration with partner unions of other airlines and in frequent exchange with the two pilot unions in Switzerland kapers keeps on requesting the improvement of the working conditions.
- Support and assistance in all matters related to the working conditions in the field of aviation.
- kapers regularly provides information regarding Flight Duty Regulations, Free Day Account, etc.
- In case of professional or personal problems with superiors or management of all levels which you can't solve yourself, kapers will assist you as mediator or, if needed, will initiate and participate in arbitration.
